Presenting myself with my works has always intensified the intention to re-presents my position as an artist against gender violence.
I thank the Congress of the Republic of Colombia for inviting me to contribute to the reform of law against gender violence with my opinion as an artist.
Cordless is the title of this work, which like others, participates in representing my theme. In this case, the rope recalls the death of many women victims of violence. Life and death, energy and matter, presence and absence.
This award was given by the "Accademia Internazionale Medicea" for my contribution to art, culture, and humanity.
Work: “Tenderete” The day begins with a cleansing ritual, Dirty laundry must be washed at home, It is like the dawn after the darkest night of life.
I did this work as a tribute to women burned with acid, in which the guests interacted with the work by placing red carnations at their feet.
Figure upside down recalls the force of gravity, but above all, the gravity of any act of violence against women who’s life turns upside down for the rest of the days.
My work "Tante tante mutande tante" exhibited and appreciated at the YICCA Prize exhibition (2018/19) Zagreb, Croatia.
White forms formed by a group of my works, with small red signs, compose this beautiful photograph exhibited at the Piaggio Museum, Florence, Italy.
The title of this work is Udana, which in Sanskrit means elevation. Sixteen stairs and thousands of steps rise towards the dress that acts as an interval between body and Soul, form and Energy, Will, and Active intelligence.
One hundred seventy-eight crochet doilies and thousands of thoughts of those who made them are collected in this work. How many silent feelings and ideas in each doily It’s a Female Gathering becomes an installation and conforms a path as a continuous infinite present.

Miguelito is one of the few male figures in my work. A puppet is hidden in his past and his guilt. Miguelito reflected in his shadow, and his shadow reflected in his past.
Picasso used to say, inspiration exists but is only working that you can find it...
